The contact owns a 2009 Dodge Journey. The contact stated while traveling at approximately 40 mph, there was a strong vibration and the vehicle was driving roughly. The contact discovered smoke under the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence where an independent mechanic diagnosed that the transfer case and/or the driveshaft needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
