Journey RT

So I've now had my Journey for 9 months and it also now has 30,000 km on it. When the problem first started it had 5,000km on it. The service department told me it would go away and it has not. I drive an automatic, not a standard, and when I'm on a hill with a light or a stop sign, by the time I get my foot from the brake back on to the gas I've rolled back, sometimes almost 3 feet!!!! I've almost hit several vehicles due to this problem. It is a major safety issue that they do not want to fix. And this is just one of many issues I have had with this car.

Journey 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 25,600 miles

I trade in a 2004 BMW SUV for the Dodge Journey. I felt that it has more room because I am 6'4 and it did. I like the vehicle.

My experience is, when all of a sudden, when I am on a hill, my car goes backward when I take my foot off the brake. It started doing it a little bit but now it does it so much it's like I am driving a stick shift. It rolls back sometime so fast I can't hardly react to press the gas fast enough so I won't hit no one behind me. I am really afraid that when my son drives it he will get in a car accident because the SUV moves backward.

I am so sick and tried of this problem. I am about to be upside down because I need to trade it in so there will not be a possibility of an accident.

Can someone help me because I do like my SUV but my life is more important?
