The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Magnum. The contact stated the rotors began to shake while the vehicle was driving 60 mph. The vehicle began to shake and became very difficult to drive when the brakes were applied. The contact took the vehicle to a local mechanic to have the rotors change twice in the last two years. The contact has called the manufacturer regarding the failure. The contact stated the faulty rotors could potentially cause a crash to occur. The failure mileage was 120,000.

Magnum

  • 80,000 miles
The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Magnum. The contact heard a loud squeaking noise from the brake system and when attempting to decelerate when the vehicle make a loud grinding noise and shake excessively. The failure was similar to recall 06V149000 (service brakes, hydraulic). The brake system did not help to idle the vehicle. A private mechanic replaced the front and rear brake pads and he noticed that there was a brake hose leak and performed the repairs; however, the failure continued. The current mileage was 97,000 and the failure mileage was 80,000.
