Magnum SXT 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 123,200 miles

My last complaint ended with a quote I got from a service rep.@ Wolf Dodge in Illinois " It happens sometimes " Well, my DODGE MONEYPIT MAGNUM decided to make sometimes more frequent. For the second time in less than 12 months or 12,000 miles my sometimes it happens problem has happened again . I was told by Wolf Dodge service rep. that one of the techs ( I guess they don;t call them Mechanics anymore ) "That he has never seen that before !" Well , I've had the pleasure of seeing it twice and even though it didn't come out of my pocket this time, the new part is only guaranteed for the remainder (800 miles) of the original warranty.

Do any of these companies stand by the products or work they do? Since they have to take it apart and install a new part shouldn't there be a new warranty. It's like they look for ways to screw the consumer & then when these companies get into trouble we gotta bail them out. Well , I'm not so good @ typing & I have pages of complaints to equal the pages of repair's- that Dodge doesn't seem to think is that bad - to add to this site .

Magnum SXT 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 112,000 miles

I've had cars with over 300,000 miles and never had to worry about any driveshaft problems , a couple of cars I had to replace a U joint once or twice but nothing like this. The response I got from the service department was when I asked what the cause was , - "It happens sometimes" ! - REMEMBER "SOMETIMES" !
