When this car was about 2 years old, we noticed that the rear bumper was getting lighter than the rest of the car. This bumper is not the same consistency as the front bumper/spoiler, because it has a resiliency, kind of like rubber, and feels different as well. The original gloss disappeared leaving a flat dull light-red ( not quite pink ) color, and if we polish it ( McGuire's etc ) it looks good until the next rain. Is this something that can be remedied in any way permanently? I am wondering if other Dodge owners have this or similar problems and how they managed to deal with a two-toned red car.
