The vehicle had an exhaust leak. The manufacturer was contacted, and stated there was no recall. There was a leak in the gas tank where the gas tank entered. There was a rubber seal where the metal pipe went into the tank. The rubber dissolved from the gas tank and caused gas to leak out.

Fuel gauge does not indicate the correct amount of fuel, even after filling up tank. Gauge will move from full to empty intermittently. The consumer is concerned that the electric gauge which is located inside the fuel tank is a fire hazard. Nlm

Called dealer. Service manager called zone representative. Was informed will not honor recall; repairs will not be done due to no warranty & salvaged vehicle.
