problem #2

Jun 082005

Ram 1500 SLT 5.7L Hemi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 45,000 miles

starts great in the morning when it is cold. run it for 15 mins and turn it off for 30 mins or longer and it won't start. This problem has been happening since it had 10,000 miles but was hardly noticeable but it has been steadily getting worse. Now it is a real nuisance. Otherwise the truck runs great, it's smooth and powerful and has no check engine light. If the gas peddle is tickled while cranking it will eventually start. Dealership hasn't got a clue. If anyone out there has a solution it would be greatly appreciated.
