Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 56,000 miles

After ranting about the fuel issues, rust issues and now onto the ball joints that I originally wasn't going to complain about.. I don't think that the ball joints should have to have been replaced at roughly 55,000 miles on my dodge. Luckily I could rip this whole truck apart and rebuild it if I had to. So I save tons doing my own work...but unfortunately many others can't. I'm out the joints and realignment fee. You dodge engineers are cutting corners...even on a $30,000 vehicle....shameful. If you would have simply put grease fittings around the front end I don't think I would have had to replace them with moog joints...thank you moog for making a nice ball joint with grease fittings. Metal on metal is a terrible sound when turning.

The rack and pinion began to leak as well, but that was fixed after leaving the dealership and quoted with some $$$ to replace. I cleaned it and found that it was simply a hose leaking...followed by a clamp.

Was experiencing front end noise and needed to replace the upper left ball joint. Just another issues in a long line of problems with this damn dodge truck.
