The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired per NHTSA campaign number: 15V313000 (air bags). After the recall repair was completed, the horn failed to operate as intended. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the failure was not due to the recall repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 178,000.
