manifold bracket bolts rusting off

As I was driving home from a friends house I kept noticing a puttering loud ticking noise coming from underneath the truck. I listened as I drove past a wall and thought I had a lifter knocking. I took it to my mechanic and he said I had a exhaust leak and that the bolts were rusted off and I would have to have them drilled out. He said that this is a common thing for dodge pickups, and that he repairs them constantly. Recall!
