problem #1

Jul 302019

Ram 1500 SLT 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 177,728 miles

Initial symptom was my truck just stalled out of the blue. I had it towed to a mechanic who told me it was likely the TIPM which would be very costly. Mechanic offered to fix issue for under $500 by installing a fuel relay relocation kit. My truck has never been the same since. No command start, no interior lights, one back door does not lock with remote. and now I am having issues with sensor codes for cam sensor (which has been replaced x2). No one wants to touch my truck. Initial mechanic told me to take to Dodge dealer. Likely the TIPM will need changing. Have appointment on October 14, 2020. Saw TIPM recall for other Dodge vehicles, but not the RAM.

Any recourse for me??
