Ram 2500 SLT Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 166,500 miles

Used horn and it stuck on. Had to bang on steering wheel until it went off again. Stopped using horn. Later it happened in the night when temperatures went down below freezing. Same "fix."

Dealership useless, suggested I buy new steering wheel.

Ended up prying horn buttons out of wheel, cleaning, and replacing. Still sticks sometimes but better.

Button design prone to failure due to exposure to dirt, spills and general hand grease.
