The contact owns a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500. Six years ago, the contact noticed small cracks in the instrument control panel cluster. In March of 2008, the cracks manifested into large, triangular, sharp, plastic chunks that are falling inward into the vehicle. He notified the manufacturer, but they did not provide any assistance. The vehicle has not been repaired. The purchase date, transmission type, powertrain, fuel system, and fuel type were unknown. The failure mileage was 33,000 and current mileage was 100,000.
