problem #2

Ram 2500 ST 5.9L Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 88,000 miles

I have always kept this truck clean and waxed but the clear coat is peeling off all over the hood and top of truck. This is awful. I have had older trucks than this and this has never happened. I even kept it in garage a lot of the time. It may be an older truck but the paint should not look like this. I feel this is Dodge manufacturing problem. I want Dodge to fix this, Had it stayed small I wouldn't have complained but it has spread everywhere.

After only about 120,000 miles the clear coat started peeling. The damage is now on the doors and hood which is going to require a repaint of the entire vehicle especially since the damage is spreading to other parts of the truck. The looks of the truck has significantly declined.
