Stratus ES 2.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 166,000 miles

My 98 dodge stratus won't shift out of 2nd gear when in drive. Error code calls for input and output shaft speed sensors be replaced. Replaced both but car still won't shift out of 2nd! POS!!! Any ideas out there?

Stratus ES 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 101,000 miles

THANK THE MAIN MAN THERE'S NO LIMIT....I like what I saw somebody say under Durango. Lets hear it for dodge....BOOOO! Biggest mistake I've ever made was buying this car. I had a 1986 CHEVY before and NOT ONCE BROKE DOWN!! NOT ONE FREAKING PROBLEM!!!!! Then I get this POS stratus and It's been nothing but an inconvenience. I've put more money into the thing than I paid for it. Seemed like it would be a nice car. Low miles, handles well...nice interior but holy HELL UNDER THE HOOD. One day I was driving into town and saw the Check Engine light come on, then alla the sudden...transmission starts boggin and won't shift out of 1st. We then hooked it up to the computer and got the code for the transmission solenoid. Replaced that$$$...was running perfect..then 150 Miles down the road started doing the SAME THING! I then left state and didn't mess with it for 2 months and today went out there and plugged it in again and now am getting 3 codes. 2 of the same one; P0700 (Trans. system control malfunction) and P0760 (shift solenoid malfunction). I don't even know if I want to ask for more help....I JUST WANT IT OUT OF MY YARD!
