Stratus

In 1999 the manual seat height adjuster was dropped on all 99' Dodge Stratus's. a fixed seat was installed. The seat manufactured by Chrysler's vendor is in a very high fixed position, so high that I at 5ft 7inches tall is only about 3 inches from the roof liner. My son at 6ft 1inch cannot drive this vehicle, his head is literally squashed into the head liner. I just cannot believe a seat to be manufactured this high as to pose a safety hazard to people over 5ft 10. I have contacted chrsyler twice on this matter to no avail. I have even asked Chrysler if they would check my vehicle out and maybe my vehicle is a isolated incident, maybe they know something is wrong with the seat. The seat is so high that when the sun visor is pulled down it is lower that the drivers head therefore posing a safety hazard. I even went sofar and asked chrsyler for a power seat and I would pay the difference, they did not respond. This fixed seat was manufactured in a very high position and I think chrsyler is covering up or is waiting for more complaints. Any help in this matter would be appreciated. Thank you
