Stratus SXT 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 7,000 miles

THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE DASH 4 TIMES, EACH TIME THEY BROKE SOMETHING ELSE. CLIPS DOOR CHECK SAID THEY WOULD CALL WHEN THE PARTS CAME IN, BUT WE CALLED THEM MANY TIMES TO MAKE APPOINTMENT TO REPAIR BUT GOT EXCUSES.

problem #2

Stratus SXT 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,000 miles

The dashboard slowly started curling up under the windshield. Eventually, the vent covers and the speaker covers no longer fit because the dashboard shrunk. I cannot find an auto body to fix it because of the passenger side air bag. They are concerned that if they replace the dashboard and the air bag deploys the car will then be considered totaled. The only one that will touch is the dealership. They have estimated a price of a little over $1,200 to fix. I still have 2 years to pay on this car due to getting into it upside down in the first place. I have placed a complaint with Chrysler/Dodge and spoke with numerous individuals and I just keep getting passed along. This has been a major inconvenience and my car looks like crap. I just can't believe how much we have to pay for a plastic piece of sh*t nowadays.
