We purchased our Fiat in 2016 hoping it would be a great vehicle for commuting back and forth to work, and it was great the first year but early this year it started doing something crazy. The vehicle would not shift into gear so I googled what could be the problem and it said it was a safety feature that, when the brake/tail light is out, the vehicle would not move. We replaced the bulb and we were able to drive it again. We thought the problem was solved when it happened again and this time not only did we have to replace the bulb but the fuse as well.

This has happened numerous times that it is now an annoyance. I really like this little car but this issue is making it difficult to want to keep it. Just the other day I drove it and as I was leaving the grocery store it decided to pull another number. I noticed the ESC light was on this time, I turned it off, we replaced the bulb and fuse, now let's see how this plays out. Has anyone else had this problem happen to them, and what is the solution?
