body work folding at the jacking points body work folding at the jacking points

Fiat really need to get this problem sorted out, you should be able to take your car to a garage and not find it comes back badly damaged due to the fact that the bottom of the cars are not strong enough to raise on a lift without damaging the jacking points and having the bottom trim of the car crushed up. Make them stronger, since mine has happened I have been looking at the bottom of all the fiat 500 that pass or are parked and I would say around 95% have dents on the jacking points, the garage that damaged it on lifting whilst carrying out a service have had to pay hundreds to get it put right. If this problem is not sorted out with the new cars you may find garages will not accept servicing these cars as they are too frightened to put them up on the lifts.
