ABOUT A YEAR INTO MY LEASE I NOTICED THAT THE PLUG OF THE CHARGING CABLE AND THE OUTLET IN MY GARAGE WERE STARTING TO LOOK CHARRED. I STARTED PAYING CLOSE ATTENTION AND THE PLUG WHERE I CHARGED AT WORK LOOKED THAT WAY TOO. MANY PEOPLE SHARE THE PLUGS AT WORK. WE'D GO OUT AT LUNCH AND SWITCH SO OTHERS COULD CHARGE.

FINALLY THE PLUG AT MY HOUSE AND MY CORD LOOKED SO BAD I WAS AFRAID TO USE IT. I TOOK IT IN TO FORD. THEY GRUDGINGLY REPLACED THE CORD, TELLING ME IT WAS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY.
