E-250 Super Duty 6.7L

My husband was driving this truck through a construction zone in Raleigh , NC . All of a sudden the steering wheel starts violently shaking and jumps out of his hands . Other vehicles had to scatter in the small space that was left around the concrete barriers . It was a miracle that everyone was able to maneuver around the out of control truck . My husband was so shaken that he had to pull over and stop . It took quite some time before he had the nerve to return the truck to the highway . He was also in a slight turn in the road .

He took it to the Ford dealer and they said much like the other complaints . Tire pressure poor or out of alignment , This is a crock ! My husband then took it to a collision repair shop and had tires and alignment checked . All was fine . Another mechanic overheard the conversation and said it was the steering stabilizer bar . That they need to be replaced at 25,000 miles . Our vehicle is only at 22378 miles . This is a accident waiting to happen . I hope Ford steps up before people are killed like the Chevy cobalt issues . We are taking the truck to an off road truck shop to see what they recommend . Stay safe everyone !
