The contact owns a 2011 Ford E-250. The contact was driving 72 mph when the contact experienced a steering failure in which the steering wheel became extremely difficult to maneuver. The vehicle was taken to the dealer four times where the dealer advised that the failure was a result of the ball joint not being properly broken in during use. The dealer offered numerous remedies but none resolved the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 347 and the current mileage was 2,800. Updated 09/15/11 updated 12/19/11
