The contact owns a 2007 Ford Edge. While driving at various speeds, while the sun was shining. The sun created a glare on the front windshield that obstructed the contact's view of the road. The failure recurred each time the vehicle was driven in sunny conditions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 96,000. Updated 09/11/15 the consumer has since traded the vehicle. Updated 09/16/15

The technician applied lubricant to the sunroof. The failure continued. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer. The technician stated the sunroof would have to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 40,000.
