The driver side seat memory switch on the door shorted out causing smoke to fill the vehicle. Husband was able to unplug switch and get a replacement part from the Ford dealership and replace it himself. This was the first incident and thought nothing about it until, the second time it has happened in December of 2016.

Also have had problems with the tail lights/turn signal bulbs blowing out and then melting around them, causing smoke and smell.
