Edge 6-cyl

  • 4,000 miles
2010 Ford Edge, passenger side inside door handle, chrome plastic paint comes off..when it comes off it leaves a sharp Edge, thus resulting in three hand cuts in my family before discovering what caused it...one resulting in an 83 year old with finger wound. Took Ford Edge to dealer, who says this is happening to Edges and Fusion, and new inside door handle was ordered, in mean time duct tape covers the handle in a new care with less that 4,000 miles on it.

Edge

  • 4,000 miles
I was driving my 2 week old 2010 Edge limited, on a highway in stop and go traffic, when I was hit from behind by a tractor trailer loaded with asphalt shingles. I was pushed into a car in front of me and both cars were totaled. During the crash, the components of the dash were ejected into the backseat.. if someone had been seated in the back seat, I'm sure they would have been severely injured by the debris.the dashboard stayed in place. Also, the drivers seat brokefrom it's anchors. The air bag did not deploy.

Edge

  • 10,000 miles
The contact owns a 2010 Ford Edge. While driving at speeds of 25 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The failure occurred on three separate occasions and was taken to the dealer. The dealer advised there was a mouse living in the vehicle and eating the air filter and sensors. There were unknown repairs made to the vehicle however, the failure persisted. The contact believed there to be a design flaw in the vehicle that would allow a mouse to live and damage the vehicle. The VIN was not available. The failure and current mileages were 10,000.
