My car wouldn't start, this guy at work jumped it. Never know when its going to do this. Been charging battery so it will start in morning for work. Bought battery at advance auto, said battery was still good. Something is draining my battery so they won't exchange battery, said its not battery. There has been recall on other Ford Edge, Ford in Brazil said not under my vin number and year. said it would cost 500 dollars to repair, I am sick of this problem just want it fixed,

I was driving my car normally one day and the next day the battery was dead; wouldn't turn over. I wouldn't have thought anything about it but recently I've heard about other Ford owner's with battery problems and i'm concerned. Either this is an ignition issue, something drawing on the battery, a bad batter or the relay. Either way, I know batteries last longer than 2 1/2 to 3 years. Throughout the time I've owned my car, I've had small issues starting the car but it always started so I was happy. When it didn't start, I had a problem. I've charge it overnight, and it won't hold a charge; it will start but won't hold the charge. As soon as I turn it off, it reverts back to hard to start. As soon as I give it a little gas, it may or may not start, but it's iffy. I did not buy the extended warranty but this sounds like a manufacturer issue that many people are having.
