This is one of multiple times that the system shuts down. Sometimes its for a few hours, other times its for days and almost a week. Eventually it comes back on as a surprise. I have unplugged the connector multiple times and that doesn't work anymore. I'm not forking out the big bucks to fix this as Ford knows it has a problem, but won't act. Ford doesn't even respond to complaints about it anymore. The radio I can get past, the heat and ac still function from the dash controls, the sync system was cool for what it was worth, when it worked, but the large extravagance that we purchased a new car for was the heated seats. Guess I'll find the wires and hard wire and actual switch. NEVER TRUSTING FORD AGAIN!!!
