I went into my Ford dealer to buy a new Ford Edge. I was told that I couldn't afford a new edge so they put me into a 2016 used edge with 54,000 miles on it. 15,00 miles later the engine started to notice that engine was loosing coolant. My check engine light came on dealer said just add some coolant. Took it into the shop at the Ford dealer to find out that I was sold a lemon. Ford Edges 2015-2019 are known by Ford motor company to have a defective head gasket that causes antifreeze to leak into the motor.

Ford motor company refuses to help in any financial assistance even while knowing that they are at fault for selling defective vehicles. Bill to fix and replace a new motor is 8,500. Not sure how I could afford a used car at over 17,000 and now out of pocket 8,500 in a new engine. I will never buy another Ford. At least Chevy accepts responsibility for their vehicles and have a longer warranty. Now I have to sue to get any possible satisfaction and report this to BBB and the Attorney General's office.
