I was told the same thing along with I need a nrw engine. I bought the car in Feb 2021 paid 17,000. It had 75000 miles on it. I haven't been able to get it repaired I was quoated around $5600. Ford has thousands of unhappy consumers in the same situation with needing a new engine. Ford will not do a recall and they kept selling cars with faulty engines. 2015-2018 Ford Edge and other models. This is not fair to thier customers!!!!!
