We had just left the dealer to replace oil pan gasket (which was like pulling teeth). When getting home, wife realized the check fuel cap light was on. There is 59,600 miles with a 60,000/10-17-07 extended warranty. I called the dealer and asked why they did not fix that or notify us of this. They were "not aware" of it. The service advisor told us to replace the cap. I purchased one and this did not fix the problem after 5 days of driving. Well of course, 10-17-07 has come and gone, NO MORE WARRANTY. I talked to someone at Auto Zone and was told the problem may be more extensive than just the cap. After researching online today, I am finding that there was a recall on o rings in the fuel line on this model. We were never notified. This is the last time I will ever buy a Ford. I can deal with the repairs, but, not the poor service and notification of recalls. I have more to list, stay tuned.
