i have spent 600 so far and it is still not fixed. i am scared to drive my children in the car. while making a turn the steering will release for a moment cause the cars wheels to straighten. a moment later it catches and continues the turn. this car is crap. the transmission has also failed, shifter cable has snapped, a tune up is very expensive because of the design, and the interior fabric glue has lost its stick. I will not buy ford again. i should have gotten a toyota 4-runner.
