2001 Ford Escape XLT shifter cable grommet wore out and needs to be replaced. Fairly insignificant cost but a pain in the butt to fix. Had a problem removing one of the 3 screws and took approximately 1.5 hours to get the damn thing out. Grommet cost $10.95 when ordered but have to wait for it to be shipped. Should be fairly simple as per 'Youtube'. Then I have to put the column back together, also fairly simple for Youtube but probably not for John.
