The contact owns a 2005 Ford Escape. The engine light illuminated on the instrument panel. The dealer stated that the fuel rail pressure sensor needed to be replaced. The flow in the fuel line was uneven. Ford has been issuing recalls on various vehicles because the fuel rail has carbon clumps in the hose wall that may leak in the wall over time. The dealer informed the contact that she would have to pay for the repair. She is displeased and refuses to pay. The current and failure mileages were 42,750. Updated 04/16/08 updated 04/16/08 updated 06/23/10. The consumer has since experienced a second failure. Updated evoq 08/20/10 the consumer stated the front and rear brake hose was replaced. Updated 11/25/14
