Escape XLS 2.5L V4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 17,000 miles

At 17K miles the engine was shaking enough that it could be felt in the car. Engine mounts were replaced under warranty.

Escape Limited 3.0

  • Automatic transmission
  • 90,000 miles

Bought it used and right away felt vibration while at idle. Did tune up including replacing all of the coils but didn’t help. Finally I noticed some play with the top passenger side motor mount and replaced that along with the transmission mount which is on top on the drivers side. Easy job as long as you have a jack to support the engine. Parts bought on RockAuto. This made a world of difference and now am very happy with this suv.
