Escape 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 26,000 miles

Paid for the fix. Warranty expired 3 months ago. Radio could not shut off even with key removed. Drained battery. Just another problem with this vehicle and all the recalls.

Escape SEL 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 43,000 miles

Just outright incompetence on the part of Ford, who went absolutely Ape-(droppings) over that InSynch bull (droppings) but can't get something simple like this fixed.

Escape

  • Automatic transmission
  • 8,500 miles

My radio, cd player and phone is not working. The radio/cd will not turn on. I have to reject the cd and re-enter the cd to get radio/cd to turn on then I am able to change from cd to radio and vice versa. In the mean time when I receive a phone call I am unable to accept or make a call. What the hell!

When opening up the driver door with key off and out of the ignition, the radio stays on. The only way to shut off the radio is to shut the driver door restart the vehicle and the shut it back off. Next you cross your fingers and open the door. If that doesn't work the first time, try, try again.
