First problem- over the course of the last few years, the car intermittently gets "jumpy" when changing to/from different gears like (from reverse to drive OR drive to reverse, all after completely braking-not in the middle of gear shift). It has not completely stalled but feels very close to it. i had brought it in in the past and they had never found anything wrong with it. It does not always happen. Second problem- the rear view back up assistance has not been working properly for over 3 years. I will be in reverse and either the beeping continues even though nothing is around or, the screen goes blank and shuts off. I was told this would be at my expense, not a recall. this does not happen all the time but is very often.

The transmission shift cable bushing on my 2015 Ford Escape deteriorated and failed. The car indicates that it is in PARK but it is actually in gear and will roll freely but can not be cranked. There has been a recall for this exact same problem on the 2013 and 2014 versions of this same vehicle as well as some other Ford vehicles. Why does it not include the 2015 model year?

I started noticing coolant leakage. Then while driving I have been getting a warning say -€œengine to hot stop vehicle immediately safely.-€ Then from there it would go into another warning. This 1 saying -€œvehicle will not operate at full power.-€ And the car would not go past 40mhp. I was thinking of fixing myself and started to research parts. I then came across this class action suit against Ford and my vehicle for the same issue I-€™m having and how it is causing engine fires. I contact Ford and basically got told there is nothing they can do. I-€™m including the class action case with this also. (Link to follow) https://www.motorbiscuit.com/overheat-fail-fire-big-ford-ecoboost-class-action-lawsuit/ (Here is the actual case documents) https://www.google.com/amp/s/dockets.justia.com/docket/california/caedce/2:2021cv00468/390575%3famp NAME OF THE CASE IS: Patricia Lund v. Driving down the highway my tires slipped and tried to kick on traction control but instead disabled my driving until I was able to get over and stop. Turn the car off for a couple seconds then restarted it back on. Did that 3 time in my way into work. I didn't know it was the traction control until I googled what happened and lot of responses said the traction control gets faulty. So now every time I drive I have to go into the settings and turn off my traction control or it continues to happen. Luckily nobody was behind me.

I am having problems with stalling. I have had the map sensor replaced, the purge valve system done twice and the fuel pump was replaced. This car was built in December 2014. I took it to holman Ford in turnersville NJ and they could not figure out why it is stalling. I feel it is the same issue that they had recalled 2.0 ecoboost Escapes. Check engine light is on and I cannot drive it more then a few miles, then it doesn't start. I have looked online and I feel this is part of the recall14S17...ssm47575. Holman Ford couldn't figure out what was wrong and said they were talking to the engineers. What a joke I had to pay for them to put on for the codes but it wasn't even correct. This stalling happens wherever I am driving within the first few miles of the day then I don't try to drive because it will stahl. This has been happening for the last year and hall

A recall was made for the doors on my 2015 Ford Escape. I had these issues last year, made a complaint to NHTSA and got no response. I paid for the issues to be fixed. How do I apply for a compensation for this recall that should have occurred last year?

While traveling on the interstate in our 2015 Ford Escape titanium, we began to exit and found we had no brakes. We had to utilize the parking brake in order to bring the car to a stop. We took the car to a Ford dealership for repairs. They determined that the brake power assist had failed because the vacuum pump locked up causing the cam drive to break inside the cam shaft. This also caused metal shaving contamination in the engine of the car which can cause the motor to lock up at any time without warning. Our research revealed that a recall was issued for this exact problem in the 2013 Ford Escape; however, there has been no recall issued for the 2015 Ford Escape. This is clearly a design flaw/faulty parts issue that still has not been corrected. We have contacted the manufacturer to see if they would do anything; but they refused and also refused to let us speak to someone else regarding this. So, we are stuck with a $2,200 car repair bill on a 4 1/2 year old vehicle with 74,000 miles that Ford knows is an issue but refuses to do anything about. This doesn't include possibly a new motor if it locks up due to the metal shaving contamination. The brakes failing unexpectedly was a safety hazard and now we have another potential safety hazard if the motor locks up while we are driving the vehicle.

Starting on the evening of January 9, 2020, my car would stall when idling. After restarting, and while driving home; the car stalled several more times. I was able to drive to and from work on Friday, January 10, 2020 however after picking my daughter up, the car started stalling when idling, and it continued to stall. If it was "revved" up, than it seemed to run okay for awhile. It ran fine on the morning of Saturday, January 11, 2020 however it started stalling around 12:00. I stopped at a local mechanics shop and was told to go to a Ford dealership because there are "silent" recalls. The vehicle continued to stall but I managed to stop at an auto parts store, explained what was happening, and it was suggested putting fuel injector in, which I purchased at the time than filled my gas tank up. I managed to get to the Ford dealership, jim shorkey in white oak and made an appointment for Monday, January 13, 2020 however after the last time the vehicle stalled, I had a hard time restarting it, and it was not doing anything when I was pushing in the gas pedal so I called Ford roadside assistance, and had it towed to jim shorkey.,
