Expedition Eddie Bauer 5.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 10,000 miles

I have a 2010 Ford Expedition that the transmission slips when it down shifts from 5 and/or 6th gear back into 4th gear. At first it only did it on long trips. Then after Ford rebuilt it (and found shavings in the pan) it now slips even on short trips. They replaced the valve body...no improvement. It was in the shop over 40 days in the past year. Currently have attorney filing lemon law. Ford has stopped responding to me and to the Authorized Ford dealer service manager.

Expedition Eddie Bauer 5.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 52,000 miles

I have two fords. One is an 04 F150 and the transmission or something causes it to vibrate profusely at times and no one can tell what the fix is. The other is a 10 expedition and the transmission is slipping and vibrates at times. I am a Ford person but am having reservations about owning another one.

When we bought the vechiel the transmission was slippind and jerking. At 15000 miles it is still slipping and jerking. Took it to the ford dealer and they say noting is wrong with it.
