Consumer called complaining about having problems with the heather and radio panel. Also stated that while the vehicle she notice that the panel where the radio is was extremily hot to the point where she tought that it could initiate a fire. Dealer was not contacted at the time of this call.

An electrical short in wiring of radio had caused a fire under the dash while parked. Dealer and manufacturer were notified.

Entire brake system went out in December 2000. Dealer replaced ABS and other brake parts. Brakes went out again on January 30, at dealer at this time. Also, consumer had to have seals on headlights and trim of vehicle replaced. There was a popping sound from radio.
