Explorer Eddie Bauer 4.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 58,500 miles

You never know which one is giving you the problem. And they are expensive to replace,...over $78 ea to replace and then they have to be "programmed"!!!!

problem #2

Explorer Eddie Bauer V8

  • Automatic transmission

Tire pressure sensor fault. Not sure what the issue is. I am sure that I will never buy another Ford vehicle again. Too risky.

(reported on)

Explorer Limited V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 48,000 miles

Low Tire Pressure warning light always on. Forget about the needs to be within 4lbs of recommended tire pressure. It's always on and has been for 10k miles. Every time I get in the truck I have to clear the two errors on the computer to get rid of the warning. Nice reminder of what a piece of junk Ford makes. I figured no reason to spend the money to repair since it is just going to break again. Had it fixed twice under warranty. Never bothered after that.
