Explorer LX 3.2L

I was amazed that the struts failed that quickly ( in less than 46,000 miles). Although I had purchased an extended warranty from FORD, they didn't cover the cost of repair. Was told by the dealer that the claim had been denied twice. FORD says claim never filed. Either way, I am out the cost of the extended warranty $1265 PLUS the $952.43 to replace the sorry worn out struts.

FORD lied. Don't purchase extended warranty. FORD does not stand behind vehicle or extended warranty
