In the 2016 Ford Explorer, both the driver and passenger side window trim has blown off while driving. The plastic clips break and cause the trim to fly off. It happened to me, and two other owners with the 2016 Ford Explorer that we bought at the same time. I have also seen it on many other Ford Explorers on the road.

There is a VERY STRONG sulfur odor emiting into the cabin without an engine warning light. Tested for error codes and inspected by Ken Towery in Louisville and the seriviceperson couldn't detect the source of the odor. The defect appeared at 98458. The smell causes me to gag and feel light headed. Please advise.

My wife has been reporting experiencing nausea, dizziness, sleepiness and headaches during and after her drive home from work throughout October/November 2021and into December 2021. Our vehicle was involved in a high speed collision on December 24, 2021 while traveling EB on I-90 at approximately MP 101. I was driving at the time. It was at about 3:29pm. I couldn't quite recall what had happened and I was disoriented and confused for some time after the collision though I hadn't hit my head. Everyone else in the car had fallen asleep despite being well rested and it being the middle of the afternoon. My symptoms and condition were the same as oxygen deprivation. I believe exhaust has been getting into the cabin of our vehicle and causing my wife's symptoms and caused the accident. The vehicle is totalled.

3 weeks ago my vehicle has had an exhaust smell in the cabin, the car has been in the shop since. I started googling to see what the issue could potentially be and found your lawsuit. My vehicle is currently at Blake Utter Ford in Dennison TX getting diagnostics ran. My concern is my son and I have experienced nausea, dizziness, vomiting(my son), fatigue, and bloody noses after we exit the vehicle. Ford has known about this issue under Field service actions 17N03 and 19N05. If Ford has known of the issue why will they not make the issue an active recall" This is a health and safety concern, and could potentially be fatal. I have called Ford and filed an official complaint, there is nothing they will do since there are no active recalls on my vehicle, so we have to foot the bill?? They asked if I had a warranty, which I do, but if I didn't? This is would be a large expense. When I called [XXX] in McKinney, TX they didn't seem to care or know anything about the exhaust leak, they had a 10 day wait for diagnostics, with no rental vehicles. I called Blake Utter Ford where we purchased the vehicle, they have a 2-day wait for diagnostics, and same no rental vehicles. I have 3 children and two jobs I cannot be without a car. Who knows how long the repairs will take? I have never received any correspondence regarding the Class action suit, how can I be included" INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

There has not yet been an incident, however, the Ford dealer is not returning any calls or service schedule requests to have the RECALL repairs done, and I am concerned the problems may become worse to the point that there is an incident. Can NHTSA force Ford to get their dealers to prioritize recall repairs?

Using the FORD PASS ap, I have two recalls for my 2016 Ford Explorer Sport. Recall 21S22 for the roof rack trim detachment and 21N01 for high speed cooling fan motor relay. I use Miracle Ford in Gallatin, TN. They have made incident reports on two separate occasions for my car. First, they lost the report in July and then the manager, Robert, brought me back in for a second report. I keep getting text messages that my service is complete, but it hasn't been completed. They haven't called me to bring my car back in for repair and I get the run around every time I call. I've attempted to reach supervisor and Robert, the manager, with no success. I'm starting to get worried!

Component - passenger side rook rack rail cover. Safety of others - part flew off as I was driving vehicle between 55-60 mph. Not sure if it hit any other vehicles. Have not taken vehicle to dealer or other service center. Vehicle has not been inspected by any third party. The only symptom prior to the problem, was loud noises heard while driving. Waited until I could find an exit ramp to inspect the vehicle, but did not find anything. It was only after I arrived at my destination that I noticed the cover had fallen off. No warning lamps, messages, or indicators of any other kind were displayed to me.

Was driving on I-40 at approximately 75mph and vehicle lost all acceleration, wrench icon came on in dash. Pressed. Gas pedal to the floor, no acceleration. Had to pull over on side of road. Pulled over vehicle stared shaken. Cut off vehicle for about 1min. Tried to retest vehicle, vehicle did not want to restart/crank. Tried again vehicle stared up. Vehicle power is not the same. Thank God I was on the right side of the highway instead of the middle so I could get off the road. This could have been worse.

2016 Ford Explorer Sport. Roof rail recall may be the cause for extreme water damage that burned out the sunroof motor, drenched the interior carpet, interior roof material, navigation and charging docks do not work. Ford not acknowledging and states after diagnostic check I have to pay 2600 to replace motor and once sunroof opens they can determine where the water leak is coming from. Also after complaining of carbon monoxide smell in cabin and multiple doctors visit with dizziness, trouble breathing I found that this is not just an issue I-€™m having. This car has had many more issues and Ford just repeats that warranty doesn-€™t cover it warranty expired. These are huge issues with the manufacturing. Car only has 35k miles and issues started in 2020.

i have had NOTHING but issues with this vehicle and have made more calls to complain to ford with no help. as an example i complained for 2 years about this rattle and clunk in my transmission..finally i got the ford dealership in clarion, pa to believe me..here it was the torque converter..after 2 years of complaining and after i got it back...a week later..i get a recall notice from ford! but, the purpose of this is my tailgate...has a mind of it's own...it will open on it's own and close...i don't know how many times this has happened...thank God it hasn't happened while i am driving...i have had it to the garage...nothing can be found...yet i researched this issue and found others having similar experience!!!! i have called ford and of course...they refuse to acknowledge my concerns...i have been clunked on the head more than once loading groceries...hopefully you will be an agency that actually does something as opposed to those that talk tough...but do nothing! thank you.

Exhaust fumes in the cabin. Stated slowly and progressive got worse. Heavy fumes and not safely drivable, Ford repair said it was the ptu unit leaking allowing exhaust fumes in the cabin through the air flow system. Ford said the ptu would have to be replaced- $2,400. The vehicle only has 58,740 miles. Definitely a safety and health hazard. This happens when vehicle is running and after running and parked in garage fills garage with noxious odor of exhaust smell.

You can smell exhaust in the cabin. It seems to be worse the higher the heater is turned up. It is irritating to the eyes. Ford denies this being a problem based on our VIN.
