The rear shackle's were replaced in 2004, when the rear springs cracked for no apparent reason, and upon spring removal the shackle that holds the spring had holes's and very detteriated. Since the springs were replaced the truck has apprx.65000 more miles, and with nothing in the truck box the front spring shackle/spring mount busted off completely while driving on the road.when the spring breaks loose it goes upward and slams against the gas tank filler tube/what a safety hazard.upon checking both sides are rusted completely threw.
