its unbelievable that ford will put put a product that self destructs the more that u drive it i paid top dollar for that truck and i expected my investment to last longer than this especially since i babied it . its really something that i never got a gd recall notice on this problem since they were more concerned with the faulty cruise control burning up but didn't care about about their engines , i just cannot understand why there is no class action suit . yours truly k schwartz

just out of no where, my motor had a very loud consistent knock, so i stopped driving the truck immediately. Had it checked out and it was cylinder 8 connecting rod the broke. now 1800 dollars later my truck runs like a champ.

Took to shop, mechanic said knock sensor, next day rattle came back, week 2 used seafoam noise went away. But Mechanic #2 said might be timing chain I do have a cam sensor code maybe chain is slapping on it? Who knows help ?
