Normal every day use. Service engine soon light turns on dpfe sensor and or egr valve has failed. From what I've researched in forums it is a very common failure amongst Ford. Engines that suffer this idle very rough, at times so much that the engine stalls out when it comes to a stop. At first I changed the air and fuel filter thinking this might solve the problem. Soon after I had my truck scanned for trouble codes(obd II) and discovered the above mentioned problem. Every shop I've taken my truck for estimates has told me this is a very common defect with Ford.
