Passenger seat belt had stuck in the partially retracted position. It won't come out and it won't go back. It had given some problems before, but I think they were related to pulling it out too far and the child adjustment feature kept tightening the belt. I have not been able to get it to come loose, nor have I had the time to go to the dealer.

My son was in an accident 2 days ago and his air bags did not deploy. He center punched a lamp pole and totaled his truck. 2004 Ford F150. He has major whip lash, and hopefully that's all, but I believe it's because he had his seat belt on and it did it's job. Had the airbag deployed, it might have stopped him from being thrown as hard.

Was driving to work wearing seat belt and heard a click or pop from the seat belt near the shoulder of where the belt came out. Consumer thought it sounded mechanical in nature. Pulled at seat belt, there was no locking. After taking off seat belt, the seat belt did not retract. No repairs. Called 2 dealers, and they were of no help, but suggested to bring the vehicle to shop after the weekend for repairs. Had not contacted Ford customer service at this time but consumer planned to do so.
