The contact owns a 2007 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 70 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power and stalled with the power steering and braking functions inoperable. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The contact stated that after retrieving the vehicle, he became aware that the fuel module was defective. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that the vehicle also experienced a premature timing belt failure. The vehicle was diagnosed by an independent mechanic and the contact was informed that the engine needed to be repaired or replaced. The engine was not repaired or replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 108,000.
