F-150 LX 3.6L V6 Ecoboost

  • Automatic transmission

Radio cuts in and out. Dealer has never been able to fix the problem. I don't think they want to try, too much work to find it.

F-150 XLT 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 56,235 miles

Back before the 36,000 mile warranty was up I was having the driver side speaker going in and out. The dealer I took it to replaced the wiring harness going through the door and said it happens all the time. After the warranty was up it started again. Since then I have noticed that if I turn the volume up a notch, the left speaker starts playing again. That tells me its the radio and not the wires. The dealer really checked that out. Fred Martin Ford in Youngstown Ohio did the repair.

F-150 XLT 3.6L V6 Ecoboost

  • Manual transmission
  • 80,000 miles

radio/sync/speakers go out

While listening to music on the radio, the speakers cut out and all components on the radio, I lose all controls and cannot select anything. The time on the display flashes and then without notice, roughly an hour later, the radio will all a sudden work again. No idea what this could be,
