The contact owns a 2011 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the driver's side rear brake lamp and turn signal were inoperable. The contact stated that the left turn signal flashed quickly indicating a failure. Shawnee mission Ford (11501 shawnee mission pkwy, shawnee, ks 66203, (913)631-0000), was contacted by phone and the contact was informed that the body control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact attempted to notify the manufacturer but was unable to speak to a representative. The failure mileage was 140,000.

The contact owns a 2011 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while at a complete stop, the contact was informed that the driver side brake light was inoperable. The contact also stated that the driver side turn signal was flashing quickly. The contact replaced both brake light bulbs however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to two independent mechanics and was diagnosed. The contact was informed that the body control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 11V128000 (electrical system). A diagnostic test was scheduled at brighton Ford located at (190 w bromley ln, brighton, co 80601) but was still pending. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 142,402.

I will be accelerating from a stop position or cruising in town at 40 mph or on the interstate at 75 mph and my transmission will randomly slam into a lower gear causing my tires to occasionally lock up. My speedometer will simply stop working, my digital dash display will display dash marks instead of numbers and also display a wrench icon. Then once I pull the vehicle over and turn it off for a minute, everything will return to normal.

The contact was able to guide the vehicle off of the roadway safely. The contact was unable to restart the vehicle after several attempts and the vehicle was towed to blue springs Ford (3200 nw South outer rd, blue springs, mo 64015, (816) 229-4400) to be diagnosed which was still pending the results. 2011 F150 has a serious electrical problem that is a safety issue, the rear defroster on a power sliding rear window know for failing to work, and if left on and vibration from a road bump can cause a sudden connection which will then cause the rear glass to shatter, and at this point there are thousands of cases, of this problem and Ford refuses to fix the issue claiming the glass is not their problem

In 2016 I went to get recall repaired from franklin tn dealership I purchased the truck from, they refused, in 2019, they claim that the software was not available from Ford, online in emails to another dealer, I have not been told when to bring truck in to get all recalls repaired. Both dealerships are in tn. When in first gear, the truck will jerk back down and won't allow me to go to 2nd gear without pressing hard on gas, loud fan noise from the hood, breaks go to the floor and I have to pump to feel truck slowing down, air and heat continue to not work, air won't get cool and heat won't get hot, both dealerships have refused to repair or blamed Ford for not giving them what they needed to fix the recalls. I am documenting so my family will be able to give this to attorney. The down shift happens when the truck is in drive moving on any and every street, parking lot, stop light/sign. The loud fan noise from the engine only happens when the truck is started, the brakes have been going to the floor for 8 years at different times of the day/night when driving.

Back truck door locked and will not open from the inside or outside dash light shows door is open, back glass defrost will not come on, none of the doors will lock or unlock with controls or remote. The truck was sitting in driveway when it started showing door was open. Door locked when I pushed the remote lock and will not open back up at all. Back defrost stoped working about a week before the doors messed up I pushed the button to turn it on and it never came on.

On several occasions, the contact had to wait a brief moment before the vehicle would restart after several attempts. In addition, when the gear was changed, the gear indicator would not display on the instrument panel. Also, the "prndl" illumination failed to illuminate. Long mcarthur Ford (3450 S 9th St, salina, ks 67401, (785) 823-2237) and the manufacturer indicated that the vehicle was excluded from manufacturer campaign number: 12C123 and NHTSA campaign number: 12V190000 (power train, exterior lighting) due to the mileage. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer provided no assistance. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 145,000.

Molded lead frame and oss replacement. I was not notified of the molded lead frame recall 16N02. I experienced the electrical issue described in the recall in my driveway. My dashboard lit up like a christmas tree and would only drive in first gear. I drove to a mechanic that was closer than the Ford dealer and was off of back roads so I could drive in first gear. I paid for the repair. I recently received a recall notice 19S07 which is for programming the oss sensor. I asked to be reimbursed for my repair and I was told no by crescent Ford & trucks. They said 19S07 is for programming only. I believe Ford should reimburse me for the lead frame, connector, automatic transmission fluid, and the speed sensor.

Intermittent advance trac error message seems to cause turn signals to malfunction (you have to hold lever in position to keep flashers on to indicate turning/lane change). Problem goes as mysteriously as it came- from 5mph to 55mph. Turning traction control off has no effect on it. In two weeks this problem lasted for about 10 minutes on one occasion; and from my morning commute (25min) to my evening commute (25min) on another.

On Monday January 6th I started my vehicle and let it warm up then when I tried to put my truck into reverse and when I put the shift lever in reverse the electronic transmission prndl display did not indicate the letter R for reverse and the backup lamps did not operate. After that I tried each gear and none of them were working so I put it into park and then back into drive it slammed into gear and then I was able to drive. The day before I got into my vehicle after it warmed up then put it into perverse and it did not go into reverse at all or drive. As a result I took it to midas in my town and they told me that there was a safety recall on my vehicle due to the codes and behavior so they advised me to take it to Ford dealership for it to be fixed for free. I did so and I asked about a recall and they reported to me that there is no recall and they want me to pay full charges this is a safety concern that can be taken care of by the dealership and I am missing work and out of the vehicle due to this delay and I'm still making payments on my vehicle that is not safe to drive.
