Back in August I was on a road trip from MN-CO towing my 22ft 5,000lbs airstream headed west on I80 in Nebraska. When suddenly my engine light starts flashing going up hill at maybe 2,500 RPMs, and I am out in the sticks with no pull off in sight so I keep driving because 1 minuet later it goes off.

Second time this happened I pulled off and fired up For Scan, turns out there was an Engine Misfire on Cylinder 2 and 6 but I cant 100% remember what cylinders they were. Right there and then I knew I was screwed because i was still 45 miles from the nearest shop in Omaha. So I decided take it slow and limped to Omaha. On the last leg of the trip the Engine Light finally turns solid. I cannot not describe how stressed and pissed I was from driving since 4 AM and dealing with this Sh** now!

So the mechanic looked it over and it took him a good 2-3 hours to find anything, and let me tell you he tested everything. And still could not find anything wrong, I still don't understand it to this day but he found some forum and decided to do some kind of PCM relearn. I don't think even he understood why or how he fixed it but it was fixed, and he only charged me $100! And since I never had a problem with it again it must have worked. I hope this was helpful or if not entertaining and maybe you could shed some light on why this happened or if it will happen again. I can also post the report list of what he fixed and researched if you are interested.
