problem #3

F-150 FX4 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 77,000 miles

The rear defrost on the window has gone out for a 3rd time. The unit has a flaw in the connectors and Ford knows it's a bad design. It also controls the heated mirrors. I had the unit replaced for a 3rd time in 6 years. This is the worst design by Ford.

Need to check on lemon law stuff.

Dealer said this is a recurring problem. Finally agreed to fix it after third time I took it in.
